1989 Fourwinds everthing New Dist, Carb, Fuel System, Tming Belt, RUNS Great in the drive way take it to the Lake Wont plane out BOG

Howdy,


I don't know what a "Flot Leave" is.

You might consider checking the timing. Retarded timing will cause an engine be pretty wimpy on power.

What kind of carburetor is it? Typically you invert the bowl and adjust by bending the tang of the float where it actuates the needle valve, you make the float paralelle with the bowl gasket surface.

Thats how I have done it. The Carb is a 2 Barrel Rochester

In your first post you indicated "New Carb"

Was it new or did you put a kit in it? I would have a hard time believing that a new carb might need to have the float level adjusted....

You also might check to see that you have good fuel flow if you have an anti-siphon valve on the tank. Sometimes they restrict fuel flow...

It's a new Carb and or rebulit from a local boat shop just pulled the top to make sure of the float level Looked into the tank thing everthing seems to be Ok. I even tried to run out of a Gas can Just Because Thanks for the Chat I willing to try anything

How do I double check Timimg If Crank is on TDC where should Cam be Just opening Valve /Vavle all the way open ?????
