2.5 L Overheating is there an impellar

Engine is OC37O429
Transom OC429498

I was wondering if My i/o has an impellar or just a water pump, so far I have not been able to locate a manual. I am confused if there is an impellar and a water pump. If so how do I get to the impellar. Any tips, diagrams would be great.

The pump on the motor is a circulating pump only.It has an impeller in the drive. Get a manual and change it as it probably needs it if you don't know it was there.J
