2.6 omc seadrive interchangeable with my 86 evinrude v6

Greetings , the question is, is a 82 or 83 2.6 omc seadrive, have any parts i could use on my 1986 200 hp evinrude looper , i can get 2 compleat units with the brackets, that were running for 200$.Is it worth it or should i pass on it. anybody need parts?<br /><br /> thanks <br /> Mr Gibbs

The price sure sounds right but the 2.6 Sea Drives are cross-flows. I'm sure there would be some parts that would inner-change but I don't think any major powerhead parts would.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty

I think the tilt & trim is different but the lower units should swap out.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
