Both Temp and oil pressure gauge are on the fritz, assume some kind of grounding issue, can someone walk me through some basic diagnosis and how i can check grounds, TIA

hello there-
dont assume its a bad ground when you have multiple gauges on the fritz, the probably share a positive leed?
if your gauges spike to the top you have a dead short in the system, if the dont move at all check to see if you have power at the gauges and then trace it back to the problem.

They didn't go together, went on 2 separate days, will check to see if the are getting power

The gages get power from the ignition switch and have that in common.

Check to see if you have power.

Also be sure to look and check the main wire harness plug. That plug has caused a million head aches
