I have a starting battery and a 24 series trolling motor battery. My 10-amp on board charger took a dump on me and I went to Cabela's and bought a new 12 amp 2 bank on board charger.
My question is: The new two bank charger came with two leads, one for the starter battery (if desired) and the other lead for the trolling battery. Without getting into why I'm only concerned with charging the trolling battery, my question is can I put BOTH leads (black together and red together) on each post of the trolling battery? = both red leads on one post, both black leads on one post?
