Ok,,, maybe crazy idea, but hear me out 1st.
This past weekend, ran boat in lake with new rebuilt powerhead.
(96 112 spl johnson) Noticed took off good but vibrated a little before getting on plane, once on plane boat cruised fine. Found out vibration was caused by 4 blade comp prop missing 1 blade (broke off)
Though to myself, performance wasnt too bad for being way outta balance and what if I cut the opposite blade off and file clean, would a 2 blade prop make a good back up? it would be emergency only. thanks Joe
