2 cycle gas in/line oil mixing unit

What is the name of the metering unit that is put in the gas line so mixing of gas is unnecessary. I saw this unit but did not get the brand name. Someone must be using one of these...

I've got one called an AutoBlende II. Made by Mercury a few years back. Not currently in production. It is a mechanical mixing device with a battery powered low oil alarm. It came on a used boat I bought, but I don't use it anymore becuase I didn't have a manual for it and I didn't know if it was reliable. I've read several disparaging remarks about AutoBlende on this forum, but I've seen similar remarks about just about every other kind of oil injection also.

Thanks RowHome for taking the time to reply. Maybe the reason I'm not hearing more about them is because they are no longer in production. The boating shops don't seem to be carrying them. Thanks again. Fpbrock
