2 Cylinder 2 stroke Outboard Parts Availability

Since my 2 cylinder 2 stroke engine lost compression on one cylinder, I've noticed that there are no rebuilt power heads available. If I have to have internal parts, which i probably will, is it possible that they will hard to come by? Is this the way they're going to move us to small 4-stroke engines ?

There is certainly no conspiracy to choke us out via parts availability. Manufacturers stock and build what sells. Often times they'll do a large final production run and then just stop. When it's gone, it's gone.

If you're more specific about what you need, you'll probably get a lead. I know i have no problems finding anything for my "2 cylinder 2 stroke" but it was made in '98.

"2 cylinder 2 stroke" covers a lot of motors, brands and years and like already said, you made need to get more specific to get an answer.
