Volvo Penta SX-M 1.79 coupled to GM 350 Vortec 5.7 4bbl Edelbrock

I have been trying to solve a vibration when turning for months... so far I have replaced -

Ujoints
Gimbal Bearing
Inspected all shafts for runout
Propeller confirmed ok
I have purchased a new coupler in the chance that it may be at fault.
Engine alignement with bar could not be more spot on.
What else could it be???

Second issue...
My boat is missfiring at the top of its rev range... I have checked the fueling and there seems to be no starvation issues... When I back off the throttle a little at the top end the issue seems to dissapear... if I then return to idle the boat runs like a pig for a minute or two... like its only running on four/five cylinders... I quick rev soon clears it.

Could my boat be running too rich at the top end? What are the symptoms of rich or lean? The carb is an Edelbrock 4bbl 1409 which came with my new engine last season.

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Best wishes,

Stan
