is there anything to add to 2 stroke fuel to help lengthen the life of a motor, i may sound stupid, but i am just wondering, ive never heard anything like this... i already do regular decarbs and run synthetic 100%... is this the best i can do to minimize wear n tear?

You will no doubt be offered a great number of opinions on somebodies' personal favoite snake oil. So I will offer my opinion. 2-strokes rarely die from old age, they are felled by starvation, arteriosclerosis, hyperthermia, and oxidation (lack of oil, clogged fuel system, overheating, and corrosion). All of these can be prevented, not by snake oil, but by routine maintenance and boat hygene. Use the boat often, oil it, keep the fuel system clean, don't let it overheat, and flush it.

Rather than purchase somebodies' version of snake oil why don't you just save time and effort and send me $3 US every time you get the urge, I guarantee the same results and I will be happier (richer). :D

I use fuel stabilizer on every tank full. Keeps the fuel system clean; therefore, I assume this helps. My plugs look great when I fog the engine at the end of the year.

Not sure if he is right but the most respected mechanic in my neck of the woods says " a little
Yamaha Ring Free a day keeps the doctor away."
Anybody have an opinion on this stuff? Have been
using it according to directions and on mechanics advise but would value different opinions.

While I had my motor apart for sealing a case leak, I decarbonized my pistons Yamaha's Ring Free. I put some on it that evening and after I got home from work the next evening, the pistons were still wet and gooey. Wiped off almost all of it off with a rag. Then followed up with a little wirebrushing and they looked like new.
I use Seafoam in my cars every so often. Add it to the gas and oil. You can tell a diffrence if your injectors were dirty. Also comes in a spraycan called DeepCreep. It is great for throttle bodies.
