2 stroke noise db versus 4 stroke.

Does Anyone have any info about the difference in db noise bet 2 stroke and 4 stroke. I searched the Yamaha site, couldn't find anything. I am specifically interested in the db data for 90 hp Yamaha. <br /><br /> Thank you

don't know about the 90 but the db for a 150 hp sx150 two stroke is 66 at 1000 rpm and 89 at 5000. The four strokes can be 10 dp less then the two strokes. Yamaha makes great outboards and you will be very happy with it .

Thank you for your replies gentlemen. I am looking forward to the delivery of my new Glastron next with Yamaha 90 hp. It is very exciting to hear all the good news about Yamaha, and other outboards as well. ( I don't wanna knock any other manufacturer down).<br />How do you spell fun time? to me its "Boating".
