2 Stroke Oil leaching backward

I am getting what looks to be 2 stroke oil in my fuel separator. This is a new issue that appeared since I had some light service done at a local marina (battery, impeller, new water separator filter (just the filter)). I know one thing has nothing to do with the next but its just a strange coincidence.
I don't notice it to be extra smoky and it seems to run fine but the color seems to be getting more blue with each use. I was on it today running it all morning on and off with family.
Attached is a pic of what it looks like today.
My fuel primer ball was replaced with OEM maybe 7 months ago but I'm in Florida and its every bit of upper 90s and probably 100s on the trailer at my house.
Is there a chuck valve or something that may have gone bad. I typically do my own light work, if ya'll think is something reasonable I could do myself. I never noticed blue in the fuel water separator before so I assume its just a matter of time getting worse that its not all oil and no gas.
2003 Mercury 90hp Saltwater series 2 stroke.
Any help is helpful, i'm obviously lost.

Might have had some premix run through it. Have you drained/emptied the bowl to see if it reappears?

I did drain the bowl and it does come back. I don't pre-mix but thinking maybe the check valve is stuck open from the oil injector. Oddly though I ran and ran it and the bowl does not clear even when under power for some time. I would have figured it would have cleared up unless that micron filter doesn't let oil through very well. i donno. I'll change that check valve this week-ish and see what happens. I never changed that before, i'm hoping taking it out doesn't wreck the fuel line warranting another things to replace.

It your filter before or after the primer bulb?

Filter should be before the primer bulb. Primer bulb has a check valve as well.
