Let's start with the model number of engine, style of controls, and is this motor new to you? Is it already rigged on the boat or are you attempting to install yourself?

Yep, you need one of the old boxes. Would have been near the transome, but you know that already. Before my time. You could build your own with solenoids. I believe the wire schematic for these is in the top secret sticky file at the top of the page.

is there anything available that's to save some time on the wiring and tracking down the solenoids
or what solenoid would I need?
