20 HP 79 MODEL CHRYSLER---NO FIRE NEITHER CYLINDER

Here's what I've done so fay----put 2 trigger assy on----changed stator once-----changed rectifier once-----changed cdi box once----none of these had made any difference----wires are good---Iam thinking flywheel--magnet seems weak that contacts the trigger assy--it will stick metal to it but just bearly holds it----doesnt pull it strongly ---any other ideas please let me know--should i change whole system out or does the new type systems still work off flywheel----let me know anything u think or ideas u have--got me stumped

Does it have a kill button? Check that too.

NO kill button electric start with key---this engine was running fine than put in shop fpr couple months now i get this no fire

Does it have MagnaPower CD ignition, battery ignition or regular magneto with points?
These late 20Hp maybe has CD ignition.

If magneto check the points.
If battery you have to feed the ignition with battery power.
If CD ignition check for good ground of the CD unit/igniton system.

FOUND THE PROBLEM IGNITION SWITCH WHITE WIRE TO BLUE WIRE --UNHOOKED WHITE WIRE AT SWITCH IT FIRES--SWITCH SIDE SHORTED THANKS TO ALL THAT REPLIED---IT HELPED ALOT
