where should the cavitation plate be? At present it is 2" below keel, but motor rides low.

That sound kind of low they are ussually a little bit above the keel, inless there is something forward on the keel to airrate the water

it planes great, but I'm afraid of swamping when slowing down. I am planning to raise it, and before I drill more holes in the hull, would sure like to know what height to fasten it! Thanks for the input!
