Working on a trihull deck boat. Like most here, floor was bad, motor mounts were bad, so I ripped it all out. Doesn't have wood stringers. I've laid in floor all the way to where the engine sits (from bow-stern), but I haven't done anything yet to the left-right of the engine. The motor (Old V6 OMC, so no alignment issues) was falling through the floor because the wood under the glass was mush. I've been eyeballing the area the whole time I've been doing the floor wondering how to redo it. I didn't see much here about refabbing this particular area. What was originally there, best I can tell, was a stack of 2x, but there wasn't enough left to see if it was all the same width. The FG stringers angle away from the hull of the boat in this area, and the hull also slopes down towards the keel. So if I just go with a square-shaped "box" of 2x4's, I'll end up with a gap under one side, and a gap between it and the stringer.

I'm trying to get some pics up, but I use my vid cam as a dig, so they're crappy and prolly won't help...
