20 YEAR OLD EVENRUDE DIES AT FULL THROTTLE

I Have a 20 year old EVENRUDE, starts and runs good cold, but when you warm it up and are running at full throttle is just dies
Anyone have any answers for me thanks

I had a 1976 evinrude 35hp that did a similar thing. It ended up being a small Crack in the head gasket. When the thermostat opened it would flood the cylinder. In the spring I could run for longer then the summer due to colder water.

Post your model number. And "just dies" will need clarification. As in, does it stop running completely, lose power, run rough. Have you tried squeezing the primer bulb when it "just dies" to see if it's starved for fuel?
