200 HO E-TEC SEIZED

Hi All<br />Just thought I would let you know that my 2006 200 HO E-Tec, that I researched for months and forked out my hard earned dollars on, Grabbed in the no 2 cylinder and seized at 3000rpm with 18.1 hrs on it, without even a warning bell or sign . Needless to say, BRP have just sent over a fully dressed power head,that is being fitted as I type, so I can have another go at it . Second time lucky I hope .<br />Cheers<br />Waykel

they can put all the technology in there but as long as there are parts on it and moving pistons and lower units and all the stuff that will break,<br /><br />i wouldnt put your tools for sale yet.<br /><br />but if you have a nice motor hoist for sale let me know.

Since the problem happened so early (18 hrs), something probably was put together incrorrectly. <br /><br />You should be praising BRP for getting a full dress powerhead to you so quickly. Think of all those Yamaha 250-300 HPDI owners who had to wait months for a powerhead just about a year ago or so.

I'd bet those engineers at BRP will have that block tore apart two hours after it gets back to the shop.......

ssshhhhh seahorse.<br /> dont tell eveyone that <br /> we can usually get 250-300 HPDI powerheads within weeks now.
