200 HPDI rpm ?

New 2006 HPDI 200, 15 3/4 x 17 prop, on a 23' mako. Ran the required break in time, tried full throttle just for a few seconds but would not go over 5000 rpms, with a inch of throttle left after it hit 5. Could there be a code set on it? The motor does have less than 10 hrs on it. thanks for info

operating range is 45-55K RPM your in the middle but I would like to see 55-57 at wot.<br />you can check it with the diagnostic lamp or a laptop for codes. other than a shift switch I doubt there will be any. shift switc codes seem to set occasionally for no real reason.

Thanks Rodbolt....just for the record the fuel filter on the engine is not completly full ?
