I just bought a 20ft proliner with a 200 johnson, the problem I'm having is the following: the engine starts up fine, runs at idle beautifully, I go to leave the dock forward or reverse and still everything is o.k. (low rpm's) as soon as I leave the no wake zone and hit the throttle half throttle is ok, but if I try to go any faster the engine doesn't go any faster(even if I put it at full), or it shuts down completely. once it dies out, everytime i try to go from neutral into gear it will automatically shut down and wont go at all. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. already put in new plugs,primer bulb, inline fuel filter, checked 2 fuel pumps. just sounds like it is starving for gas????? runs great on land but not under load in water.
