I have this 94 merc 200 carbed still working on. Got it to go up to around 4k rpm's. I may just have some air leak in the fuel line. Compression checked out at 95 to 105 even. I want to pull the head's and replace the gaskets and maybe mill a tiny bit. .10 to flatten them. I'm thinking the person before me overheated the boat as the impellter in lower unit was wasted and the stats were shot. Could I shave the heads a little more to get some more compression like in a autombile or will it just blowby the rings.
Thanks
Tim
