2000-2001 Garmin Fishfinder 160 Help

Hello
I was looking at Garmin Speed Senor 010-10279-01. I was wondering how this works with the original Garman device with temp and depth? I see it has two connections on the Speed senor cord.

You unhook the transducer from the back of the head unit and hook it to the secondaery connector on the speed sensor. The main cable on the speed sensor then gets plugged back into into the head unit.
