Skippers & Wrenchers, I have a 2000, Searay express cruiser, 5.0 EFI, 2 barrel electronic carb., 481 hours. The vessel is in like new condition and has NOT been touched by a blowboy or a hacker mechanic.
PROBLEM: Fuel is getting to the inlet on the back of the carb. but NOT through the fuel injectors and down the throttle body. I jumped the fuel injectors from 1 of the batteries and the fuel injectors functioned properly. I took the vessel to the local Mercruiser dealer had them scope (diagnose) the ECM and they found NO codes and told me that they will get to it in 3 to 4 weeks. It has great spark! Almost acting like the lanyard is "pulled", I flipped it up and down to see if it reset it, still no fuel. I have checked all the fuses both forward and aft. Circuit Breaker is functioning.
Willing to try anything at this point, any ideas and a big ol' "CHEERS" to the man who figures this one out!
Thank you in advance for any ideas!!!
Rick
