2000 70HP won't throttleup ?????

My freind has a 2000 70 outboard that idles great. When you throttle up (fast or slow) it starts vibrating terrible. We have been through all the fuel stuff. Had it to boat mechanics and was told nothing was wrong. Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks for the comeback. He took the motor back to the shop and they found a burnt control module.(I think that's what the name of the part was. This mechanic said the screws on the advance had not been touched,so it was a factory screw up. I guess the timing was to be set at +12 degrees and it was set the opposite way so he was actually 24 degrees out. (or vice versa). The mechanic said that was his problem. I'm gonna post this as a new topic to see if Johnson will go good for the money he has put into the diagnosis of this problem with statements from his mechanic.
