Can anyone tell me if there is suppose to be a bowl vent jet installed on these carburetors? The engine S/N is 0T160329 and the parts list and Mercury manual for the Walbro WME-8 doesn't show one. However in the Merc. manual the spec. sheet shows it's suppose to have .094" bowl vent jets. My carbs have no jets installed, just open threads where it looks like they should be.

I'm really confused as to why there aren't any installed or what happened to them if they are supposed to be there.

Thanks.

You talking about the high speed fixed jet? On my 90 if you look in the very bottom of the bowl you can see it, threaded in from the port side. If yours is missing, fuel would pour out the hole when squeezing the primer bulb. The "vent" to the bowl is the venturi tube that sticks in the gas on the lower end and when venturi suction is present, vents it to the venturi and it and air go to the reed valves. Make sense?
