I was replacing a starter relay that is way up under the dash to get my car to start. It does now and now all the suddon the windows will not function. The power locks work but none of the windows do. There is the interior light on in the buttons for the window buttons but none of them move the windows. I checked all the fuses and I can find nothing wrong. What else am i maybee missing? its weird they all just stopped working at the same time!

You may have knocked another relay loose, or the new relay does't allow that circuit to work.

ok All the windows stopped working at the same time. There is a fuse under the dash inside the car there is a fuseable link in the fuse/relay under the hood and there is supposed to be a relay in the passenger compartment. I cannot find that relay! Ill send you a diagram of the wireing. in just a sec! Does anyone know where this relay is and what it looks like? Does it look like a regular rectangular relay? And more importantly where is it? Thanks for any help you can give me!!

Do you have a window lock? Check the window lock......... When I worked at two car dealer's 95% of windows not working were due to the lock being engaged.

no. no matter where the window lock is they still do not work. even if the window lock is prob, the drivers controlls would still work. Im going to bypass the the relay and all that and get toggle switches to get just the drivers and passengers windows to work. Ill just hard wire them in to a accessory and fuse them them (10 amp). The two back windows Im just going to prop up so they cant come down or up. Im not going to spend a lot of money on a 11 year old car.
