My Rude is rude. When coming up on the throttle from idle starting at 1500 rpm's it starts to run very rough and misses terrible. This stops about 2600 rpm's then runs fine. Anybody got a clue as to what causes this?
mhall@inet4u.com

First off.......Have you had all the updates done. Their was a software upgrade also on some. Also you need to make sure you have the correct sparkplugs and they have to be "indexed" correctly. Call your local dealer with your model numbers to make sure you have the current updates. They will do it (even now) under warranty.

All upgrades and updates have been done. New plugs were installed and "indexed". Everything has been checked and is up to specs. Nothing has helped my problem.

I've got a friend with the same engine and same problem. The factory reps finally told him after many attempts to remedy the problem that he may just have to live with it. Hard to believe it can't be fixed somehow.

www.StriperChaser.com

It's hard for me to accept the fact that this engine cannot be fixed. There is something going on with it that causes the spittin and sputtering. Can anyone help me with this problem?

You could get an oscilloscope and check the igniton system, signal to the the injectors, and signal from the sensors to verify that they are correct. You could use a Fluke 97 from Automotive tech. Some outfit in Texas rebuilds the computer and injectors, may have a tech service phone. One point about the injectors and the lap top diagnostic software, does not tell you how much fuel in passing thru the injector.
