trying to diagnose what is wrong with my outboard no acceleration.it seems that at the cut in speed for cyl 3&4,it gets hung up and fails to accelerate.ive determined that at that rpm,there is no spark on 3&4.even at idle there should be spark on these cyls as the idle ports on carbs 3&4 are what restrict fuel at low rpm,correct?tried to nail down which part of the ignition system is faulty.thought it was the trigger assembly so i replaced that,with same results.am i now between replacing the either stator or voltage regulator? best way to test for faults in either? any input greatly appreciated
