2000 Merc 40ML 4st - Idle Problem

I've got a 2000 Merc 4 Stroke 40hp tiller motor and I can't figure out the initial setting on the Pilot Screws. Every piece of information I can find on this motor says that it doesn't have pilots screws, but I can tell you I just rebuilt the 3 carbs and they all have one.
My manuals indicate that the 50hp 4s up the 1998 had adjustable pilot screws, but those carbs don't have and accelerator pump and these do.

I'm at a loss. Anybody have any idea?

Standard is 1 1/4 turns out and adjust from there. A manual would have the proper procedure, which may be important if you had the cards off since you might need a link and sync if the adjustments got out whack.
