I have a 2000 mercury 200 EFI .The issue that i have is that it dosent go over 4000rpms and some times it reads 5500 and 6000rmps and is not going that fast. It turns on fine i think it has a rough ideal when in gear.I changed fuel filter and still does the same thing. What else can i check????

First off, did you change the filter on the motor itself, or the one in the boat? Were the contents contaminated? Dirt, water etc. Next step is to check fuel pressure. Check for spark on all six cylinders. Check for engine compression. Don't waste time and money cleaning injectors until you know if you have fuel, spark and compression FIRST! Good luck.

use seafoam!

My thoughts on Seafoam...
(1) Brings me more customers:D$$$$$:D
(2) waste of money as I have NEVER seen it clean a dirty marine injector yet..
