I'd like to test my CDI voltage output due a little spark, but my outboard is a pull start. The manual states 1500rpm in hopes of achieving 18 V. Does the pull start matter and would my reading be any different? Is there any tricks to spinning the flywheel a bit quicker other than trying to break the cord?
