My first time on the water with my Mercury 25 hp 4 stroke Bigfoot this year and it let me down. 1st time since new. I had new fuel , etc, motor in excellent shape, fuel run empty in carburetor last fall etc. Motor will idle but actually had a hard time getting it started. Low speed only when open throttle it tries to die. New tank, bulb , fuel filter etc. Fuel Pump perhaps???
