Customer has an omc 5.8L- Obviosly a ford engine. First question is does for alternate side when counting cylinders. Or go straight down on side and straight down the other side?
Second the engine was sumerged in water up to the exhaust manifolds and will not start now, not even a cough. Changed distributor and tried to run the firing order- alternating sides like always. It sounded the same turning over before and after the distributor change.
