Has anyone had any experience with these engines? I have an opportunity to buy a pair with low hours but have never owned a Suzuki and have no knowledge of their reliability.
Thanks.

They are good engines.. However make sure you have a dealer near you that works on them unless you do your own work. Around here there are no dealers that handle them.

I have 2 1995 model 140 Suzukis on a 25' seacat w/ 575 hours. Most reliable engines I've owned. However I am selling now and will replace with 2 140 4 stroke suzukis. Do you need 2 more. they are in great shape.

Had a 1995 DT-140 (carb'ed). Best described as : tough, overbuilt, thirsty, easy to maintain.

Ditto, the thoughts on dealer support. Don't buy them unless you're handy or have a good dealer nearby.
