I have a little gear lube leaking from the prop shaft seal and am wondering if there are any pointers to replacing the seals when the bearing carrier does not appear to want to let loose easily. If I remove the two bolts in the photo attached, it should pull out and I can replace the seals then?
I was contemplating using a little heat around the seam and applying some pb blaster/penetrating oil. Any other suggestions are welcome!

I can't help with your Yammy seal question. But maybe you can help us, renegade. The pic didn't make the trip, but you probably see it on your end. How did you try to put the pic in your message? I successfully post pics all over the forums. But I see this in posts often and I'm trying to figure it out to help everyone post and see pics.

Thanks and sorry for going off topic on you, GA_B, Mod.

I used the "upload attachments" button on the right, probably should have used the camera button to share photos on the far left instead? I'll edit the post and try it.

And no go here with the two pics you posted, just two photo icons with the torn corner...

All the junk is gone. Did you look at the link I sent in the PM?

I did, thanks much! It does come apart just like I thought. It will just take a little more convincing!
