2001 225 Ocean pro cracked cowl

I noticed a 2 inch long crack in the engine cowl and the latch in the front is broken off and the mechanic had to lock it with a pair of visegrips. Where can I buy another engine cowl or new latches at the very least? thanks

latches should be available through a dealer, the cowl can be repaired with a fibreglass repair kit, it is made from acrylic and needs a good sanding before fibreglass is applied, but I would reckon a second hand cowl should be easy enough to find, considering how many of those must be scrap by now, but they are quite expensive new, and a second hand one might also be expensive.

thanks noelm, I seen one Evinrude model on ebay for $300 bucks. I can repair the crack with fiberglass as you mentioned but Im not sure where I can pick up the latches. No Johnson dealers anymore so I guess I could go to Evinrude and order some. Wish some aftermarket company made those.
