I made a mistake and adjusted the maximum advance link rod and the other link rod on the port side of the motor. I did it in a vein attempt to lower the idle, I know this was a mistake but now I need help fixing it please. The problem is the timing is set by the length of these two rods and I can not get the timing right now. I have tried for weeks to find this information. I have bought manuals and posted the question and done countless google searches. I can not find the factory shop manual for this motor, if anyone has a link to that I could purchase it and hopefully the factory length of these rods would be listed. the only other idea I have is to visit a repair shop and pay for an hour of labor to look up the factory spec for these rods. I cant even find a better name for these rods in the books. They just call them "link rods" or sometimes "throttle link rod." If anyone has a shop manual or this motor and could measure the length of these rods I would greatly appreciate it. Or, if anyone has a better idea of how to find this information I am also all ears. Thank you
