2001 BF90A lower unit removal...please help!

I have the 5 bolts out and cant get this thing to move. I have searched and saw something about a shift shaft coupler that needs to be disconnected. Where is it located? I see the main shift assembly near the engine but it does not look like it would have anything to do with the lower removal.

Any suggestions or a link to a parts schematic would be appreciated.

A few taps on the tailstock of this unit are usually required to unleash the alighnment pins. Use a heavy soft hammer ,but do'nt beat on the cavitation plate or you will break it.Do'nt ask me how I know that.It is concievable,if the gearcase has not been removed in all this time,that it has fused itself to the flywheel.Not a fun situation.
