Just purchased C40 3 cyl motor that was fogged before sent,has approx 10 hours as per previous owner,installed with brand new 704 controller,key switch and 10 pin wire harness and lcd tach which is at 6 pole setting,when first rigged removed plugs and sprayed little amount of 2 stroke oil in each cylinder and turned motor over few revolutions.Installed plugs, all which had good tested spark.motor idles high rpm for 2 seconds then goes into intermitent miss.Lower cylinder plug does not seem to get hot after running 10 minutes on hose muffs with idle adjustment.Has push choke in keyswitch that seems to not affect rpms when held down all wires seem to be connected correctly only unit shown for this motor in yams web page is 703 controller could their be compatabillity problem. I suspect fuel problem in lower carb but hate to take new motor apart with so few hours,any suggestions still waiting on service mahual so info is limited to owners man. Any help appreciated.
