ok so i have been in the process of replacing the motor in my boat because of cracked block. the intake was also cracked and so i ordered a edelbrock performer intake 2114. now when i go to put the alternator on with the thermostat housing on the alternator is hitting the hose from exhaust to the thermostat housing. was wondering if anyone else that has installed the intake has had the same issue and what was done to fix it. i dont want to just install it all how it is and rub a hole in the hose from running it. was thinking about raising the alternator up some and just buying a longer belt to take up the slack. anything will help.
