Anyone know anything good or bad about this engine? I have an opportunity to purchase one in almost new condition but I am not familiar with this model. Any input would be helpful. Thanks.
The Johnson 135 in 2001 was a 90 degree carb'd V4. The 2001 Evinrude was a 135 thats a 60 degree V6 Ram Injected motor. <br /><br />So we're talking about the V4 carb'd motor, right? Thats a very proven motor. Makes lots of torque but is a bit heavier (365 lbs) than the crossflow V4's and the 60 degree V4's. Excellent motor.
