2001 Johnson 40 steering wheel off center

2001 Crestliner 16.5 Angler with a 2001 Johnson 40hp. The steering wheel is no longer centered. The boat runs straight, but the steering wheel is just not centered. How do you center the wheel? I have done this on the rack and pinion, but this is a different cable steering system then the Mercruisers i know.
