I have a 2001 Mercury 90hp that I can't control the idle. The idle is over 8000rmps. I have did the link&sync, I have screwed in all the air/fuel screws on all the crabs, no change. I screwed the idle screw all the way in and out, no change. I don't know what's keeping the idle that high that I can't control it. So I'm going to need a little help. It is backfiring when first started, however, it stops once the motor is warm. I have no problem with the engine starting or running, its just the idle. Please help. I don't know if the trigger or the stator can make it do that. And then once it reaches over 8000rpm, I can't turn the motor off by key, I have to kill it with the kill switch.. HELP
