2001 opti 135

serial # OT274600, would like to replace popit valve. do i need to remove lower cowling or remove oil reservoir to get at popit? also have read there is a screen that can clog up on cooling lines. but for the life of me cannot find where its at. i think it hooks onto air compressor somewhere. thanks for any advice!

Poppit valve should be on base of powerhead, on the starboard side of the motor. You will need to pull 1/2 the lower cowling. I had thought the screens in the cooling system on an Opti were where it cools the compressor. Not sure though.
