I have a pair of 2001 Yamaha hpdi 150hp counter rotating motors. Can anyone tell me why the counter rotating motors lower gear case takes less gear oil than the other motor? Thanks

Is that condition stated on the Owner's Manual ? How much less oil in ML would that be compared to the standar rotation motor ?

Cause there is more parts taking up room in housing...usually 3-5 oz difference.
