2002 115 EFI Mercury Won't Start; Clicking from the Starter

Hello,

It had been about 3 weeks or so since I turned my engine on, and when I went to turn it on I got a clicking noise but no flywheel turning. I checked the battery with a multi meter and it read 13.4V, so batteries are good. I assumed it was the starter that has gone bad so I replaced it with a new one, but I still got the same problem; clicking from the starter, but no engagement to the flywheel.

Please help with your thoughts on the problem, its summertime and I can't have the boat sitting on the trailer all summer.

It's a simple thing, but often overlooked. Check the grounds and make sure they are tight and clean. Check if power is at solenoid. Then where starter gets power from solenoid. Seems like a bad ground somewhere...but just a guess.
