2002 150XL Mercury Optimax (New) help!

Hello,

I just bought a brand new leftover 2002 150XL Mercury Optimax. The engine is brand new and it still has the factory three year warranty on it. I bought it out of state so I only saw pictures of it. I have not received shipment of the engine yet. Maybe you guys can help me out... I noticed it dosen't have the "Saltwater" on the cover and I keep the boat in saltwater. Should I be concerned??? I am a maintaince freak with my engines and I keep up on everything. I did notice though that it doese have the freshwater flush connection on it which i would use after every trip. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Also here is the picture of the engine.

just keep it washed down, and use muffs to flush. they are the same motor, maybe with an additional clear coat. and different anoide.

It looks like the new engine has the same anodes as my old engine. And it has the built in fresh water flush in engine where you hook the hose right up to the engine just next to the **** hole.
