JohnnyR,<br />Not sure if this will help... my Johnny 200 Oceanrunner didn't idle worth a flip after getting it back from the shop, they kept setting the idle faster so the engine would stay running. the engine would quit at the WORST times. After demanding they put it in the water, the mechanic realized it had a problem. He pulled the idle retarding shaft out and it was bent, causing the idle spark retard to go anywhere from -25 degrees to 0 degrees. Simple replacement, runs and idles fine now.
