ot556519 replacing oil hose from remote tank to motor because of leak , I have factory service manual which says I should prime oil pump if hose runs out of oil . The manual says I need DDT to do it the right way. Is there any other way to do this ? The manual also has whats called shift switch activation, where you turn key to on then go from neutral to forward 3 to 5 times at the remote control within 10 seconds but that's for new powerhead or motor as it activates break in oil ratio and 2 hour break in cycle.
