Took the boat out for the third trip and the speedometer didn't work. It had worked fine the other times out. Is this a standard speedometer with a tube, or is there anything special about this type or model that would be different? I had some other "problems" like the trolling motor didn't work (the friggin cable was unplugged), and the radio had no sound coming out (I learned this model has a mute button). I felt like I dummy, but I have 3 kids aged 1-4 and they keep pushing all the wrong buttons and unplugging things. I wonder if there is anything they could have done to make the speedometer stop working...

Thanks so much!

TJ, pretty unlikely that the kids did anything to make the speedo not work. You probably just have gunk in the pitot tube or the hose from the pitot to the speedo. Just remove the tubing from the back of the speedo and blow some compressed air through it and you should be fine. For more stubborn clogs, you may have to pick the chunky stuff out of the pitot itself with a small tool.
